Koh Samui only.
A local species on Samui, which, up to now only been found at higher elevations, though this is not the case on them mainland.
It can be differentiated for the similar P. hordonia by having both the forewing submarginal lines orange.

Dalbergia candenatensis, Dalbergia rostrata (both Leguminosae) and Cnestis palala (Connaraceae)
Range
Thailand, Assam to Sundaland, with other subspecies on Nias and Mentawi Islands.
