Sexes similar.

Although regularly seen, it can not in any way be described as common. Generally to be found in forest clearings. This is the only member of this genus found on Samui to have orange markings. It can, however, be mistaken for members of both Lasippa and Pantoporia genera.

Range

Peninsular Thailand, Mainland Thailand, Myanmar and Indo-China. Other subspecies from N. E. India to West China, West Malaysia, S. Thailand (Yala), Borneo, Java and Mentawi Islands.
