Euthalia ipona
Fruhstorfer 1913 - The Silvery Blue Baron
Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.
This is a very rare species throughout its very restricted range. It can only be found in forested areas. It is distinguished by the small white spots on the costa of the forewing of the female.
The male is very similar to Euthalia phemius, and there is a body of opinion that thinks that E. ipona is not a true species, but a subspecies of E. phemius.
