Koh Samui and Koh Pha Ngan.
The most common of the Ariadne species on Samui. Differs from A. isaeus by the white spot near the fore wing apex, and from A. merione by having only a single black discal line on both wings. Typical of the Genus, it is to be found in forests and forest edges.

Range
N. E. India, to S. China and Peninsular Thailand. Other subspecies in Sri Lanka, Peninsular India and throughout Sundaland and Lesser Sunda Islands.
