Arhopala alaconia media

Evans 1957 - The Patchy Oakblue

This species was first found on the Islands in September 2012. Remarkably only 4 days seperated the first specimen from Samui with that on Koh Phagnan. A relatively small species with a distinctive triangular mark in spaces 6 & 7 on the underside hindwing.

It can be found at the edges of and inside woodland.
