Hewitson 1862 - Purple-glazed Oakblue
A rare species on Samui, discovered for the first time on 10 January 2012. The dark markings and closer relationship between the hindwing postdiscal spot 5 and the end-cell bar distinguish this species from any other found on the Islands.
It is to be found in and near forrested areas.
