An uncommon species on Samui. Like all members of this genus, it is crepuscular by nature. It is usually to be found in or near forests.

Derris elliptica, Derris trifoliate, Millettia brandisiana and Millettia pachycarpa (all Papilionaceae)
Range
India, through Indo-China and the Malay Peninsular to China, Lesser Sunda Islands and Palawan. Another subspecies on Sri Lanka.
