Butler 1879 - The Blue-Branded King Crow
Koh Samui only.
A rare species, only seen once so far on Samui. One of the larger of the 'Blue' Crows. It's normal habitat is the forested hills, and it is known to be erratic in appearance, being abundant in a locality for a couple of months and then disappearing for a couple of years. No reason is known for this behaviour.

Range
Indo-China, through the Peninsular through the Archipelago to the Lesser Sunda Islands. Also the Philippines and Taiwan.
