The identification of this species is slightly tentative, it has not been previously recorded from Thailand.

There are only two species in the genus, T. rotundata, shown elsewhere on this ste, and this one, previously known only from Assam, India. The photograph matches well the photo in Maa's 1963 Monograph of Machaerotidae, and also the description given in that publication. The only problem is the location!
