Sounama (Stenaulophrys) sp. indet.

Photos taken at Sapan Waterfall, Nan Prov., Thailand on 25 October 2021.
This Genus is causing problems with taxonomists who seem unable to agree where the genus should be placed. It regularly moves from Aphrophoridae to Cosmoscartini (Cercopidae) or Rhinaulacini (Cercopidae) and back again!
This specimen MAY be a lighter form of Sounama asiatica, but there appear to be sufficient differences to consider it, at least for the time being, as a posiible different species. Sounama species can only be differentiated through examination of male genitalia.
