The species appears to be restricted to the montane and sub-montane areas of Thailand, but is apparently not rare.

Recorded distribution in Thailand. Chiang Mai, Nan, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Saraburi and Chantaburi provinces.
