Machaerota sp. indet.

The strongly upcurved lateral stripe on the scutellum strongly suggests that this is Machaerota discreta (Schmidt, 1918). However, the heavy brown apical markings are not typical for that species, so an element of doubt must occur.
This species is often found around damp patches on the ground.
