This appears to be a not uncommon species in the northern provinces of Thailand, rarer further south.
There is some disagreement as to whether this a truly a separate species or simply a form of Cosmoscarta egens (Walker, 1855). However, both COOL and iNat show the species, so it is listed here.

Range
Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand.
Recorded distribution in Thailand. Chiang Mai, Phetchabun, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,and Chachoengsao provinces.
