Clovia expressa - Walker 1857.

This species is mentioned by H. M. Pendlebury as Clovia supressa, Jacobi 1921, (Malaysian Cercopidae in the Raffles and Federated Malay States Museums, Journal of the Federated Malay States Museums. Kuala Lumpur 16, p.167). This is an error as that species is limited to New Guinea. The photo, here, matches perfectly the description given by Walker as C. expressa. The location given for Thailand by Pendlebury being Khao Ramrome, Nakhon Si Thammarat Prov., 25 February 1922.
This is the first record for the country since that date.
This seems to be a lowland/mid elevation species, found at approx. 700- 1000m.
