This species was first recorded for Thailand in Metcalf Z. P. 1961 - Part 2. Cercopidae.In: Metcalf Z. P. 1963 - General Catalogue of the Homoptera. Fascicule VII., North Carolina State College, Raleigh (United States of America). p. 1-607.

This appears to be very rare in Thailand. I have only seen 2 single photos of the species, from the same location.
