Koh Samui and Koh Pha Ngan.
Despite its English name, this is one of the least common of the Genus on the islands. It prefers pastureland compared to a more wooded environment.
It is the easiest of the mineus group to identify as the underside hindwing spot in space 2 (3rd up) is placed slightly out of line, inwards, to those in spaces 1b and 3.

Larval Foodplant
Impertata arundinacea .(Gramineaea). Probably many other Gramineae as well.
Range
Peninsular Thailand, West Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo and Java. Other subspecies in Assam, Myanmar, the rest of Thailand and thoughout the Oriental region to Australia.
