Koh Samui and Koh Pha Ngan.

Not uncommon species with an enormous variety of underside patterns.

In common with several genera in this family, it is primarily active only at dusk and dawn, unless it is disturbed during resting in the undergrowth. It can generally be found in secondary and primary woodland/forest.

Huge. Found throughout the Oriental region to Australia. Other subspecies are to be found in tropical Africa and the Islands of the Indian Ocean.
