Koh Samui only.
A rare species with a very restricted range. It is closely allied to the Malayan species, Elymnias panthera, but their ranges only overlap in the far south of peninsular Thailand.
It can only be found in forested areas.

Range
Southern Myanmar, down the peninsular to just above the Thai/Malay border, only. There are no subspecies.
