Gandaca harina distanti

Fruhstorfer 1910 - The Tree Yellow

Koh Samui only.

At first glance, this species can easily be mistaken for members of the Eurema genus. However, the underside is entirely featureless, and therefore, when settled, can easily be identified.

This is a common species of woodland and its edges, and can be commonly seen drinking from the edges of streams and roadside seepages. Unlike the Eurema sp., however, it rarely congregates in large numbers.
