Koh Samui only.

An unmistakeable butterfly, as the lower half of the hindwing, upperside, is bright orange, with the rest white.

This is not a common butterfly on Samui, which is usually found in secondary vegetation near the edges of forest, and by the sunny edges of streams and rivers inside the forest.

Range

S. Burma through the Malay Peninsular to Sundaland. Another subspecies is found on Mainland Thailand. It is probable that the species known as Cepora aspasia, from the Indonesian Archipelago to New Guinea is a synonym (same species, different name!) of C. iudith.
