Chersonesia peraka peraka
Distant 1884 - The Rounded Maplet
Koh Samui only.
This is the smallest of the Chersonesia species to be found on the Island. It is the only species lacking a 'tooth' on the hind wing, and also is the only species with a double discal band.
This is the rarest of the Genus found on Samui, and is only to be found in deep forest, where it flies weakly amongst the dappled shade.
