Koh Samui only.

The only member of this drab family so far found on Samui. It is not rare during its short flight period.

Primarily a species of the deep forest, it has, on occasions been taken in nearby gardens. It is usually found near clumps of its favourite larval foodplant, Bamboo.

Bambusa sp (Bamboo) but also Coconut and Sugar Cane.

Peninsular Thailand and Malaysia (Other subspecies from Nepal, Sikkim and Northern Thailand)
