Arhopala aedias agnis
C & R Felder 1865 - Large Metallic Oakblue
This is one of the largest of the Arhopala species found on Samui. However, it is very rare, and has only been found once, so far, on Samui.
As is usual with members of the Genus, it is a forest dweller.
One unusual feature about this species is that it is found in two distict sizes.

Range
Peninsular Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo,Nais and Banka. Other subspecies can be found in Southern Myanmar and Western Thailand.
