The sole member of the genus, this is a medium sized nondescript species, easily overlooked. It is to be found in woodland.

Donax cannaeformis (Marantaceae)

Range

S. Myanmar, Peninsular Thailand, West Maaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Java and the Philippines. Other subspecies in N. Thailand and Indo-China and Sulawesi.
