Lepidoptera-Arctiinae Gallery

This subfamily was, until recently, considered to be a Family of its own (Arctiidae). However, it is now only considered as a subfamily in the reinstalled Family Erebidae.

The Arctiinae are commonly known as the Tiger Moths.

Species identification was done using Volume 6 of the Moths of Thailand by Dr. Karel Cerny and Bro. Amnuay Pinratana which was published in 2009, and is the only work on Thai Arctiids currently available.
