Capnodistes arietarius - Distant 1908

This is a new record of the species for Thailand. It can usually be distinguished by the long pale yellow markings on the tegmina. There are usually also two apical spots of the same colour. However, sometimes, the long spots are missing or the two apical spots. No specimens have been found without both.
In Thailand it was found in mid-level open forest.

Recorded distribution in Thailand. Chiang Mai and Kanchanaburi Province.
